Casa del Viento (which means 'windy house' in Spanish) is a trendy space with a guest room and a photo studio decorated with antique furniture.
Facing Mount Takasaki, it feels like Beppu Bay is part of the back garden, making this a soothing space, indeed.
Casa del Viento is run by a wife who always longed for her own photo studio, and a husband who longed for a gallery to do carpentry as a hobby after retirement. They decided on the house after looking at many others. After falling in love with the view of Beppu Bay, they finally moved here to Oga, Hiji.
