Since the Edo era, Aizome Workshop Bizenya has been carrying on the tradition of natural indigo dying. This natural indigo is free from chemicals so there are no negative effects on the skin when it is used on garments.
Inside the workshop there are all kinds of lovely indigo-dyed goods on display for sale, such as tye-dyed kimonos and jackets, as well as coasters and purses.
