Hiji Youkoku Yaku Seizan Kiln Pottery Shop got started in 2003 after potter Hijiriyama Koishi opened a workshop in the Kawasaki area of Hiji. At the workshop space, there is also a gallery.
The collection includes tableware and vases. These are decorated with fine gold 'kindami' paint and finished with ash glazing and other traditional design techniques that give the pottery here a high-quality finish.
