Stone painting' is the art of taking stones that seem to resemble something in characteristic and shape, and painting these stones to bring those resembelances to life. Artist Izumi Abe does just this in her Stone Zoo, bringing stones to life as all kinds of animals and showing them off in their 'natural' habitats. In the zoo as well as the garden, there are usually around 300 animals to be seen, all waiting eagerly to greet you.
