Kannon no Mizu (Kannon Spring)

Protruding to the north of Hiji, the Kanagoe mountain range produces high quality water that springs as far as the town. Thanks to Hiji being blessed with so many natural springs, these even help to supply a part of the town's water.
The water at Kannon was discovered during construction on a tunnel in the vicinity. In front of Kannon's Temple, you can find this spring, usually crowded with people holding containers, eager to fill them with fresh mountain water.
