Plan Description:
Experience zazen, which calms the mind and regulates breathing, and incense making, which soothes with natural scents. At Katai Temple, established in 1346, you can practice zazen and make incense. After a brief explanation, you will have the opportunity to engage in several 20-minute zazen sessions with breaks in between. This allows you to spend quiet time reflecting inwardly amidst a different flow of time. Afterward, you can listen to a Dharma talk from the chief priest while enjoying matcha. For incense making, we use natural frankincense mixed with resin and wood powder. Unlike synthetic fragrances, the materials used are high-quality and naturally derived, creating a gentle and soft scent that soothes both body and mind.
